My Opinion

My opinion with regards to these attacks: I personally think that these attackers are brutal and have lost their mind maybe, I mean how can you kill or injure someone because you feel intimidated by him succeeding in front of you then you assume they took your job, house or business? Whereas you have nothing and you are very picky when it comes to job or businesses. I still wonder where the conscience of these attackers is. Well, only God knows because really you kill a person and only to find out that he is the bread winner, how will they survive? I wish the attackers don’t get bailed

Recommendations

South African police officers should work hand in hand with the government in preventing the attacks. South African should stop being intimidated by foreign people because of their knowledge and wisdom, but instead, they must be encouraged and go to school and study, accept the small jobs, stop being choosey and also start their own business that will make them not to want to burn Somalian shops or attack them. We all as South Africans ensure that this does not happen again because we will not be able to have good relationships with other countries.

  1. One of huge problem with South Africans is that they are so lazy , claiming that people from other countries come to our country and take their jobs of which isn't true. foreigners only create job opportunities and grow the economy of South Africa for them while they stay and home compaining that there are no jobs.

  7. I feel like some rights are being violated such as right to life. Therefore there is no spirit of Ubuntu in South Africa because people are still killing each other. They should remember that we are Africans before South Africans

    1. Most people don't care about rights and that makes them to do the wrong things.Such as attacking, injuring or even killing innocent souls.

    1. True Keorapetse, imagine if that person is a bread winner (only one who is working), how will they survive with the pain that they have lost him/her and that they won't have anyone to provide for them. This is really sad.

  12. South Africans should stop claiming that these foreign nationals are taking their jobs. Truth is these foreign nationals are not scared of hard work where else we are because we have a Government that gives us handouts. The early bird catches the fatest worm #lazinessMustFall#

    1. I strongly agree with you Palesa laziness must fall because it leads to people claiming that foreigners are taking their jobs whereas truly speaking, people from foreign countries when getting a job, they don't care how small the salary is, but instead they make sure that they work hard in order for their salary or income to increase.

  16. I am ashamed to call myself a South African after those Xenophobia attacks that have happened in our country we are probably the last country or people to be practicing such act because during apartheid some of our freedom fighters escaped to countries around Africa to hide and other to be trained there.
